Can this time-frame be known or viewed in a not so vague Biblical and historical timeline map? There are verses that give hints concerning this time-frame:
(Dan 11:40) And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
(Dan 12:1) And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
At the time of the end, there shall be a time of (great) distress or tribulation. Now, concerning the coming of this great distress or tribulation, the Lord has given a sure sign that should be watched:
Mat 24:15-21
(15) When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
(16) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
(17) Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
(18) Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
(19) And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
(20) But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
(21) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
A few people believe the construction of the Dome of the Rock was the fulfilment of the setting up of the abomination that desolates. At that time, was it already the time of the end? The short articles below regarding the historical interpretation of the Olivet Discourse and of the 1290 and 1335 Days will give light to this:
(Mat 24:6 KJV) And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass,but the end is not yet.
(Mat 24:14 KJV) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The “Last Days”
The “Last Days” are not “Time of the End” but at the time of the first Pentecost after the ascension of the Lord Yeshua, the Holy Spirit promised by the Lord descended to his disciples, and regarding this occurrence and time, Peter said:
(Act 2:16 KJV) But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
(Act 2:17 KJV) And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
So, the “Last Days” had already begun during the apostolic days.
